How can I apply for a job using FastJobs?

Apply for a job in easy 5 steps:

Step 2 - Register for an account (Register with your email or Facebook account to get instant access to over thousands of jobs.)

I do not have a Singapore phone number. Can I apply?
Only people with a local Singapore number can apply. You will need a Singapore Number to be verified, the purpose is to allow interested employers to contact you.
What benefits/features does the app provide?
  • Easy account creation- Create an account with basic information such as your full name, contact number and email address
  • Set preferences based on job function, industry, location, salary & job type
  • Find jobs near home - Click on Jobs near home button, enter your postal code and apply for jobs near you location
  • Visit discover jobs - to apply for jobs as per your interest
  • Private chat with employer - click on the at the top right corner of your home page to check messages from employers
  • Multilingual App - Offers both English and Chinese Interfaces.
  • English to Chinese - Simply navigate the ‘Home’ Tab, scroll down to find the ‘Jobs in Chinese’ Banner. You will then be transitioned to a confirmation page. Click ‘Continue’ and the interface will be switched to Chinese.
  • Chinese to English - Simply navigate the ‘首页’ Tab, scroll down to find the ‘游览更多英文职位广告’ Banner. You will then be transitioned to a confirmation page. Click ‘继续’ and the interface will be switched back to English.
What kind of jobs can I apply for?
Employers on FastJobs post jobs for all kinds of job roles including full time, part time & contract. You may filter jobs as per your preference.
Are you like a recruitment agency?
No, we are not a recruitment agency! We are an award-winning mobile app which connects non-executive job seekers to reliable employers quickly & easily! Best part? We do not take any cut when you get hired!
I have applied for jobs but did not get any response! How?

There are often many job seekers applying for the same job. The hiring manager may not be able to respond to every applicant.

As Jobseekers, make sure your profile is updated and you have filled up your Past Work Experience, Education, Language and Skills. This will give the employers a much better understanding of you and the probability of you getting a response will be higher! Also do not stop at one application, apply for more jobs to increase your chance to get hired fast.

I can’t apply for an account. What can I do?
  1. Unable to Receive Confirmation message via SMS - Registering for a FastJobs account requires a Singapore phone number (+65). If you do not have a Singapore phone number, we are unable to process your registration.
  2. Invalid Email Address - Make sure that your Email is spelt correctly and without additional spacings or symbols. If the problem persists, you may use another Email address or register via SMS confirmation instead.
  3. "This Email is Already in Use" - The Email address is currently registered in our system. Please use another Email address and try again. If you have forgotten your password, click here to retrieve your password.
I do not have a resume. How can I create one?

Don’t worry if you do not have a resume, you can create one with your existing FastJobs profile information.

  1. Go to your profile and fill in your experience (e.g. work experiences, skills, etc.)
  2. Under resume section, click “Create Your Own” to generate your resume

After completing the above steps, you should see a message which says 'Your resume has been successfully created!' and be sure to click on 'Use this!' to update your resume.

To verify that your resume has been successfully updated, you may go to the 'Resume' section and click on 'Send myself a copy' to view your updated resume in your email.

I applied for an account but cannot log in. What can I do?

After you register for an account, check your email for verification. Do take note to check your Spam/ Junk mail folder in case the email is routed there by mistake.

If you have already verified your email address, make sure you entered your registered email address and password correctly.

If you forget your password, please use the Forgot Password feature so that we can reset it.

How can I track the jobs I saved/ applied for?

Your favourite jobs will be stored in the 'Saved Jobs'’ tab for 7 days and the jobs that you apply for via email or phone will be recorded under the 'Applied Jobs' tab for 30 days.

Remember to quickly apply before the jobs are filled!

I do not have a FastJobs account, why am I getting applicants through FastJobs?

As a value added service to increase the mileage of your Classifieds Job advertisement on The Straits Times and The New Paper, the advertisement will also be published on FastJobs to reach out to mobile app users.

What are FastCoins?

FastCoins is a credit system that we have adopted on FastJobs.

This do-it-yourself approach allows greater autonomy and faster response to the employer's job posting process.

How do I use FastCoins?

FastCoins can be purchased through your sales account manager. You may also like to contact us at customercare@fastjobs.sg or call 6319 8616 .

You can access your employer dashboard with your account information that will be sent to you. FastCoins will be deducted with every action performed, i.e: post job, feature jobs and extend expiry date etc.

What are the rates of posting job positions? Are there special rates for certain packages?

Each job posting will be available for 7 days. For rates, please email us at customercare@fastjobs.sg or call 6319 8616 .

How would I know my FastCoins balance?

You can login into your account from the employer dashboard. The balance of your FastCoins as well as the expiry date will be indicated on the top right hand corner in the dashboard.

What should I do if I have insufficient FastCoins while posting a job?

You will not be able to perform an action if you do not have sufficient FastCoins. Top up your FastCoins to post jobs. For assistance, please email us at customercare@fastjobs.sg or call 6319 8616 .

My FastCoins have expired. What can I do?

Your FastCoins has a validity period based on the package purchased. It is strongly encouraged that you login to your employer dashboard and use the account actively.

We will be sending notification emails to remind you prior to the expiry of your FastCoins. You may choose to top up your package to continue using your FastCoins or use your existing FastCoins to extend your expiry date.

My job vacancy is already filled. Can I delete the ad (expire the ad prematurely)?

You may do so by sending a request to customercare@fastjobs.sg and we will help you expire it. Alternatively you can set the ad to expire manually from the employer dashboard after logging in.

Can I direct applicants to my personal email address or contact?

You may indicate the way you would like to be contacted for each job posting. This can be through email or via phone.

I would like to feature my job posting. Can this be done?

A featured job posting gets more attention from potential job seekers. You can choose to feature your job posting as an add-on with FastCoins. This has to be done concurrently while you are posting your job advertisement.

How would I know how many FastCoins are used for each add-on?

The number of FastCoins required will be indicated beside the add-on. The total amount of FastCoins required will be calculated and reflected before you confirm to proceed with your job posting.
